We took an idea that was very popular and expanded it into something larger than a pumpkin business.
Our story
Since I was a little girl, I’ve always wanted to create. It didn’t matter what it was, as long as I was using my hands to make something that brought me joy. When I married my husband, Patrick, he came from a family that always encouraged turning dreams into a business, so this venture was born out of my love for crafting and his encouragement to make those dreams real.
What got me started was the darling trend each fall of leaving decorated pumpkins on people’s doorsteps — I called a family friend in Cincinnati, Jana from Porchside Pumpkins, and her support gave me the courage to take the leap. After that first season, I realized I wanted the business to be more than just pumpkins and autumn, so I began researching ways to create for Christmas and beyond.
Now, in the spring, I’m working to grow the business year-round for my family. I’m also a mom to the most adorable little guy, James; he gives me such purpose, and I’m excited to build something lasting for him and for us.
I dedicate this business every day to my mother, who passed away in May 2025 from glioblastoma. She loved her eight daughters deeply but never got to fulfill all the dreams she held. One of those dreams was owning a bed and breakfast. This is for you, Mama. I love you so much.
